BONETOWN THE POWER OF DEATH TV
Every one took me at least 30 minutes but I was just watching TV while I did it. If no solution, turn off the middle lights. Otherwise do the corners again a few times. See if there is an obvious 1 or 2 clicks that gets you there. Then click corners a few times going diagonally.
BONETOWN THE POWER OF DEATH TRIAL
My trial and error was: Periodically turn off the center lights.
Much like a Rubic’s Cube if you know the solution it is probably easy but I had no idea so would just watch TV and do it trial and error till I got close and could see that 1 or 2 more clicks would get me there. The object is to get all the lights to come on. So I guess the solution is, as long as you have a yellow icon to follow do it otherwise, check out the more populated areas and castles for people to talk to usually indicated by the flickering column of points of light and if there is nobody then you might as well look for the "?" BUT some of the people I found to talk to that set objectives I found by wandering around. You can spend a lot of time looking for the "?" locations on the map BUT a lot of them you can't get into until a specific point in the game at which time the yellow objective icon helps you find it. When someone gives you something, they are not really giving it to you and you have to pick it up - had a hell of a time finding the farmhouse again in Pitfield once the "objective" marker was gone and I realized I did not have the object that he “gave” me. Having to use the mouse and clicking on the “” to decrease or increase graphics resolution is just weird when the mouse is never used to select anything else.įramerates not great but only really bad in Runetown near the water during a thunder storm and never when it created a problem doing anything or fighting.
BONETOWN THE POWER OF DEATH HOW TO
Took a bunch of tries before I was able to figure out the settings menu and how to adjust. Keyboard controls are very strange and seemed kind of inconsistent. Not sure if that was intended or a glitch but NOT a good game design idea. So started to revisit places I had already been and eventually wound up back at the first house and when I left all of a sudden there were monsters and stuff to do. Killed everything I could find and explored everything but then I could not seem to do anything. When I started the game there seemed to be very little to do.
If the name of the item shows up in red and you take it you run a very high risk of guards coming after you and being fined gold for stealing, Not sure what would happen if you did not pay the fine but the guards say they will take all of your possessions. When you are in homes, castles etc, you can loot barrels, bureaus etc but not items out in the open. Some of the passages and hidden places (“?” on the map) are really hard to find - not even convinced that the Icons were always accurately pointing the way. The Icons in the bar at the top to help you find goals and warn about monsters etc Some clipping but mostly only in places where you probably are not supposed to go. Neither good nor bad, just kind of old school. AND if there is a thunderstorm going on when you start, the storm never ends till after you exit the lock picking screen (so don’t try to get into a locked place during a thunderstorm)Ĭombat is just button mashing but not that big a deal. Very annoying that you only get to see the clue on how to pick a lock once (once the grooves are lined up hit D, then W/S till you hear the change in the sound - it gets kind of screechy - and then hit and hold D again) while it is making the sound.Īlso annoying that you can’t pick a lock during a thunderstorm because you can’t hear the change in sound. If the bar at the top does not show a heart icon, it is not something you need to fight. You can’t fight them and they can’t hurt you. At the very beginning, ignore the fighting and see the wizard.
